As temperatures rise above the 100s we are all enjoying the camaraderie of Desert Skydiving. It is “T”s second season as a pilot and I would like to welcome the addition of “DD” the pilot and Paul the tandem instructor. Sadly JT will be leaving us in August. He is going to play Army (just kidding Marine) in North Carolina. Louis is honing his canopy skills and Little John is managing the challenges of packing (as long as he is not smooching on his girlfriend). Silvester has apparently served his last Mad Cow burger and can now be found in the packing area learning the ropes. Thanks to Big John the facilities are being upgraded and he is now the “premier architect” of DSC. Kevin can be found with me sweating in 31 Bravo, due to his seating preference he is now known as Number 2. Wild Bill and Scott are scaring static line students under the direction of John K. who is making the long drive from Tucson in his new Tucson. Tony is perfecting his Num-Chuck skills (please don’t kill meJ) and is helping out when we are overloaded. Thanks for logging on and hope to see ya out there. Blue Skies.

April 24th marked the end of the caravan season for Desert Skydiving. Thank you to all who came out to support the dropzone. We had a fantastic weekend, 30loads, with 30 tandems each day. The winds kicked up in the afternoon, but we were able to still get all the customers up in the air. Superman & Wonderwoman even made a guest appearance to help out. See nearly-normal.com photo pages for pictures.
